| Memorial Day Services 2026Memorial Day Weekend Events in HolsteinThe Holstein community is invited to come together this Memorial Day weekend to honor and remember the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. The Memorial Day Avenue of Flags will be going up on Thursday, May 21, at 6:00 p.m. Volunteers and community members are welcome to attend as the flags are carefully placed throughout the community in tribute to local veterans and fallen service members. The display will remain up through Tuesday, May 26, and flags will be taken down that evening at 6:00 p.m. Memorial Day services will be held at North Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will provide an opportunity for residents, families, and visitors to gather in remembrance and gratitude for those who gave their lives in service to our nation. Community members are encouraged to attend and take part in this meaningful hometown tradition. As families and friends gather throughout the weekend, Memorial Day serves as an important reminder of the sacrifices made to protect our freedoms and the importance of honoring those who served.
