Rules and Regulations
LOHFF-SCHUMANN MEMORIAL COMMUNITY CENTER RENTAL PROCEDURES, RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. A contract most be filled out prior to renting the room.
2. Rental Fees:
Member - $50 up to 5 hours; $10 for each additional hour, $10 Night/day before set-up charge
Non-member - $75 up to 5 hours; $15 for each additional hour, $15 Night before set-up charge
3. Please note the Emergency Exit door in the community room is just that. This door has an ALARM and will go off when opened. The only reason this door should ever be open is for an EMERGENCY.
4. The person or persons in charge of rental shall be responsible for all loss or damage to the facility.
5. Lohff-Schumann Memorial Community Center will furnish the renter with accessories for both the kitchen and community room.
6. The Community Room rental Bruits the facility usage to the community room
7. A renter canceling 48 hours prior to the scheduled time will result in a525 penalty. This policy it enforced because a short notice cancellation or an unconfirmed no-shave denies the community room to other groups.
8. The community room should be in proper fashion (i.e. wiping off tables, cloning kitchen, making sure all dish towels are thrown in washer not in sink (washer located in laundry room), all dishes clean and returned to proper place, dust mop floor
9. In case of emergency, contact Lohff-Schumann Community Center Staff if on duty and/or Director LIBBY BAGENSTOS at 712-898-7421
10. The chairs and tables are nut set in any fashion or form. If you or your party wants a different set up, it is your responsibility to arrange for your rental.
11. The room consists of 8 rectangular (30'x 96') tables, 8 round (48' diameter) tables, and 120 chairs.
12. Please make sure all procedures, rules and regulations are understood before signing the Rental Agreement form.
13. Absolutely no taping or using tacks on walls without permission from Director. If damage is done to walls you w61 be held responsible for new paint and labor.
14. NO SMOKING or ALCOHOLIC beverages are allowed anywhere in Lohff-Schumann Memorial Community Center.
