Residential Utility Services Espanol Application
The City utilities include water, sewer, and storm sewer. Water meters are read monthly.
Bills are mailed the first of the month, due the 20th, and if not paid, disconnect notices are sent on the 21st, which includes a $15 late fee.
Disconnection date is 12 days later excluding Sundays and legal holidays. Reconnect fee is $60 plus past due charges.
Garbage and Recycling
Holstein Sanitation, Inc. is the City's carrier and can be reached at 712-369-9792.
Garbage and recycling fees are billed along with the City utilities on the City monthly billing and paid to the City of Holstein.
Recycling is mandatory. A blue tub is provided and should be left at the house if you move. If you do not recycle, your garbage will be left at the residence for you to separate properly and a citation can be issued.
