Administration
Administrator - Theresa Pudenz
I grew up in Carroll and graduated from Iowa State University in 1993. My husband and I have two children. Our daughter is a nurse and currently resides in the Johnston. Our son is in his second year of college at Iowa State. I have worked in County government since 2007, starting as Deputy Auditor in Union County, Iowa. I was appointed Union County Assessor in 2015. I came to Holstein as City Administrator in January of 2019. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, boating, reading and spending time on our acreage. I have lived in all four quadrants of the State of Iowa including Eldora, Mediapolis, Creston and now an acreage North of Galva . My mission is to see the City of Holstein grow and prosper and enjoy working closely with the Mayor, City Council, staff; businesses and organizations to accomplish this goal.
Deputy Clerk - Renee’ Leonard
I started my career with the City December 2009. I enjoy my job and my coworkers are a great team to work with. All of the staff members strive to do their best for Holstein and to promote our community. Holstein is a nice town that has a wide variety of businesses and amenities for everyone. I came to Holstein forty-two years ago because my future husband Greg was born and raised on a farm NW of Holstein. We wanted to live in this area and raise our family here. We have four married children and fourteen grandchildren who all live close by. We live on our acreage west of Correctionville.
